Alessandro Lamberti is an Aerospace Engineer and a Ph.D student at Politecnico of Torino where he is pursuing a doctorate in Aerospace Engineering. He earned a BSc in Aerospace Engineering at Università degli Studi di Padova discussing a thesis about the designing of a database for classification of defects found on composite material components of AMX airplane, thesis realized with the help of Italian Air Force. In 2008 started to attend an MSc in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico of Torino and he got the master degree in December 2010 presenting a work on Inflatable Structure: the aim of the work was the development of a inflatable airlock for a Lunar Rover. His Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering started in January 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Erasmo Carrera (Politecnico of Torino) with the collaboration of Alenia Aeronautica. His research project is related to the development of a method for the life evaluation and life extension for FCS and the study of feasibility of FCS based on smart structure.
