Stefano Valvano is an Aerospace Engineer working at Politecnico di Torino. He earned a BSc in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in October 2009 by discussing a thesis on the comparative analysis of wind turbines. Afterwards he attended an MSc in Aerospace Engineering in the same university and he earned the master degree in October 2013, presenting a thesis on advanced finite element shell for mechanical and electro-mechanical problems. Stefano Valvano started working at Politecnico di Torino in November 2013, and he started his Ph.D. in Mechanics in January 2014 under the supervision of Prof. Erasmo Carrera. His research project is related to the development of advanced finite element shell models for linear and non-linear analysis for multifield problems.
