Yanchuan Hui is a Ph.D. student at Politecnico di Torino, enrolled in the FullComp team under the H2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie European Training Network. After completing his Bachelor degree in Engineering Mechanics from Wuhan University, China in 2013, he got the qualification to become a postgraduate candidate exempt from admission exam. He undertook his master thesis in Wuhan University on the topic: “Multiscale modeling and simulation of instability phenomena of heterogeneous materials”. His research interest is the accurate and efficient solution for the design and optimization of composite materials and structures with superior performances regarding strength and stiffness for lightweight applications.
