Jing Zhang is a Ph.D. student from the Faculty of Material and Manufacturing at Beijing University of Technology. She obtained her BSc in 2019 from School of Mechanics and Construction Engineering, at Jinan University. She then passed the successive postgraduate-doctor study program at Beijing University of Technology and began to pursue a doctor degree of Mechanics from Sep 2021, under the supervision of Prof. Qingsheng Yang. Started from Feb 2023, she continued her research in Politecnico di Torino under the supervision of Prof. Erasmo Carrera, Prof. Erdogan Madenci and Prof. Alfonso Pagani with the support of China Scholarship Council. Her research project is about the CUF-based coupling of peridynamics and the finite element method.
