Fangzhou Zhu is a Ph.D student at the school of aeronautics and astronautics of the Zhejiang University. He gained his Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanics at China University of Mining and technology in June 2018 by discussing a thesis on Fluid-solid Coupling Model for Stability of Rocks around Tunnel. Afterwards, he joined the Ph.D program in Solid Mechanics at Zhejiang University in September 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Weiqiu Chen. In 2020, he received the scholarship from China Scholarship Council to pursue study in Italy for 24 months. In February 2021, he came to the Politecnico di Torino and joined the Co-tutelle agreement(on co-supervision in doctoral education) in Mechanical engineering under the supervision of Prof. Alfonso Pagani and Prof. Erasmo Carrera. His current research interest includes: nonlinear vibration of shell, Soft electro-active and piezoelectric materials and CUF.
