Xinzhu Li (Lisa Li) is a joint PhD student at Politecnico di Torino and Harbin Engineering University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Dalian University in July 2015. Afterwards she attended a master’s career at Harbin Engineering University in September 2016. She started her PhD in the same university in September 2017 with the major in wave propagation in inhomogeneous media. She entered Politecnico di Torino for joint PhD under the supervisor Prof. Erasmo Carrera in February 2021 with the support of China Scholarship Council. Her current research topic is studying the influence of defects in inhomogeneous media on elastic waves scattering.
