Georgios Balokas holds two undergraduate degrees, one from the School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences and a second from the School of Civil Engineering; both from the respective departments of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He also earned his MSc degree in Analysis and Design of Earthquake Resistant Structures from the same university in 2015. As a student he dealt with computational analysis and implementation of composite materials in wind turbine blades within his undergraduate dissertations and he also published several relative papers. His MSc dissertation is about the seismic risk assessment and the modeling of frame structures using stochastic finite elements. In the past, he has been occupied as a structural design engineer and an analyst and participated in several structural engineering projects in Greece. A detailed CV can be found here:
