Alberto García de Miguel is a Ph.D. student at Politecnico di Torino, enrolled in the FullComp team under the H2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie European Training Network. He earned both the BSc and the MSc in Aerospace Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, finishing on 2015. He carried out an MSc thesis at the same year in cooperation with Politecnico di Torino on the introduction of new higher-order one-dimensional structural models applied to the analysis of metallic and composite structures. As a student, he has participated in several projects and courses abroad, supported by entities such as the European Space Agency, Université de Liège and Warsaw University of Technology. He also worked as an intern at MSC Software on the development of non-linear multi-body models. His research activity as part of the FullComp project is related to the development of advanced refined models for the accurate analysis of composite structures.
